Happy First birthday!

My little niece just turned one, and to make things even more special we share a birthday. Here are a couple pics from our shoot. She makes me laugh! The best way to describe her is DIVA! I can't wait to watch her grow and develop and hopefully capture it with my camera.

Last Sunday Shane (Shane is my hubby) and I went to do some air to air pictures of his Citabria and his dad flew the Citabria for us. Shane and I have been meaning to take some pics and we got some good ones. Even though it was a hot day it was well worth it and the best part was I didn't have to make sure that people were blinking! :)

Photoshop fun

I love love love editing photos! Actually, editing is the part that drives my husband nuts! I think it is because I become obsessed with the process and it can consume many hours of the evening. This effect doesn't work with many pictures but it fit this photo to a tee!

New background!

I found this awesome company called Drop it Modern and just had to get one of their cool backgrounds. I ordered the one called seahorse. Here are a couple of pics!

View from Above

Yesterday Shane and I went flying and I took my camera along to snap some pics of the flood damage in the area. Our friend Dr. Dave was flying in his J3 Piper Cub and I'd been wanting to get some air to air pics of his cub. I was thrilled because it had been a long time since I'd shot any air to air. We had him fly in formation with us and here is what I snapped.
